Evaluating Reach - Who's Participating

Evaluations often report on the number of clients participating in a program and who they are. They report on:

- the type of clients participating
- how many are participating
- how they participate and
- what these clients are.

To do this, they use metrics such as participation totals and take up rates. They break them down by relevant program streams or activities. And they report on demographics or firmographics (for businesses/organizations) of their participating clients.
