Social research studies systematically answer questions about topics of interest.

Social research activities include:
  • Initiating and scoping research projects in consultation with stakeholders
  • Managing projects with one or more researchers working on them
  • Developing research frameworks, work plans, data collection and analysis plans, project schedules and budgets
  • Developing research instruments and protocols
  • Gathering and analysing data using mixed methods (qualitative/quantitative)
  • Communicating results
